Dorothy Eileen Foltz, 96, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, Born August 8, 1925 on a farm outside Fort Wayne, IN, she was preceded in death by her parents, George & Sophie (Sommers) Foltz, brothers, Carl, George & Robert, sisters Helen & Margaret, foster parents, Charles & Anna (Sommers) Plummer brother, Earl, and sisters Edna & Mildred. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and friends.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was employed as a secretary in the Porter County Extension Office for 43 years.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 13th from 9:30 – 10 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Queen of Angels Chapel with funeral mass beginning at 10:00 am, Rev. Doug Mayer officiating with burial following at St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Paul’s Parish.
