Ellen Anne Kutkiewicz, 75, of Wanatah passed away peacefully Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was born July 6, 1950, in Valparaiso to Donald W. & Florence A. (Koselke) Timm and graduated from South Central High School in 1968. Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who found her greatest joy in time spent with family. She was strong-willed, artistic, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from puzzles and crafts to time outdoors. She instilled in her children the importance of perseverance and never giving up.
On June 16, 1973, Ellen married the love of her life, Donald Kutkiewicz and together they shared 52 wonderful years filled with love, devotion, and family. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Donald Kutkiewicz; her brother, Edward Timm; her children, John Kutkiewicz, Joe Kutkiewicz (Lisa Howerton), Mark Kutkiewicz (Mary J. Olds) all of Wanatah; and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan Kutkiewicz (Candace Minton) and Joshua Kutkiewicz (Natalie Thiem); brother, Edward Timm (Pat), brothers-in-law, Michael Kutkiewicz (Carol) and Robert Kutkiewicz (Patti). She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Norman Timm, brother-in-law, Charles Kutkiewicz, and sister-in-law, Mary Kutkiewicz.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 16th from 9 – 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wanatah, Father Jerry Schweitzer officiating with funeral mass beginning at 11:00 am and burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
