Eunice Mae Vosberg, age 92, of Valparaiso, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was born May 17, 1931, to Earl and Gladys (Back) Vosberg. Eunice graduated from Wanatah High School in 1948. Following graduation, Eunice worked as a civil secretary for the Army at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis, IN until her retirement. Eunice appreciated living in Indianapolis, but in 2010, she moved to Northern Indiana to be closer to her family. Eunice enjoyed puzzles of all sorts and her pet cats.
Eunice is survived by her nephews and niece: Franklin D. Egolf, Jr. of Garland, NC, Joanna Clindaniel, of Wanatah, IN, and Charles Thrasher, of Bloomington, IN; great-nieces and nephews: Jennifer (fiancé Curt) Leininger of Cincinnati, OH, Emily (John) Jalkanen of Bloomington, IN, Abbigail (Daniel) Rohmiller of Granger, IN, Jack Thrasher of Bloomington, IN, and Marshall (Jess) Clindaniel of Wanatah, IN; and great-great nieces and nephews: Jenna, Zach, Megan, Cole, Emma J., Lucas, Gretchen, Emma R., Dominic, Nora, and Adella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Paullette Grace Budzius; sister Shirley Egolf; brother-in-law Franklin Egolf; niece Shirley Jo Thrasher; great-nephew Jeff Leininger; and great-great-nephew Collin Spradlin.
Following cremation, a private burial of ashes will take place in Westville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dunes Hospice in Valparaiso, IN.
