Frank Dean Robertson, 76, of Kouts passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born April 9, 1946 in Williamsport, Indiana to Charles (Chuck) & Eunice (Hetrick) Robertson, graduated from Morgan Township High School in 1964, and served proudly with the U.S. Army National Guard. Frank received the M.E. Dinsmore Mental Attitude award from the Porter County Conference following their 1964 basketball tournament to recognize Senior Sportsmanship. His basketball prowess transcended the generations as he continued to analyze and encourage young players and attend high school games his entire life.
Frank began his career farming in Porter County before transitioning into truck driving with L & L Transportation, then concluding as a Dispatcher for many years before retiring.  His retirement career seemed to be more joy than work as he looked forward to mowing lawns with Robertson Grounds Maintenance. Frank found so much joy and comfort with his faithful dog Macy. She was his constant companion, giving him comfort until the very end.
On July 30, 1993 he married Kathleen Cannon who survives along with his children, Brian (Traci) Robertson of Kouts & Amber Paarlberg of Nashville, Tennessee, step-children, Scott (AJ) Nuest of Kouts, Shawn (Katie) Nuest of Hebron, Amy Maloney of Valparaiso & Chad Nuest of Georgia, Grandchildren, Sydne (Chelsea) Robertson, Faith (Tanner) Redmon, Noah & Ella Robertson, Karli & Lakin Paarlberg, Morgan Maloney, Parker (Maddie) Nuest, Connor Nuest, Jack & Lily Belle Nuest, Julia & Cooper Nuest, great-grandchildren, Liam & Charlie, and brother, Michael (Cindy) Robertson of Kouts, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at the Kouts American legion in Kouts, Indiana at 2:00 pm on May 21, 2022.
