GUESTBOOK

We have never met more of a caring, loving and really neat lady! Neighbors for 5 years and we sure did enjoy her company. Our sympathy to her loved ones. When God takes a loved one from us, he leaves a gift of memories in return. Cherish those memories.  -Owen and Vicki Smith

Gerri was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I only had the pleasure of knowing her for a few short years but she made an impression on me, a kind lady who loved her home and flowers and her pets. She will be greatly missed.  -Dianne Justus

I was honored to know, work with, and call her my friend. She was a very special and amazing person. She will be greatly missed. It is with a heavy heart that I didn’t keep in closer touch these past few years.  -Cynthia Lockhart MSA, BS, RN, CCRN

I loved working with her! She always seemed to know when you needed her! We worked together at Pulaski Memorial Hospital. I worked in the OB department as a nurse and nurse manager. I can remember Gerrie bringing food in for us when we were too busy to leave the department to eat, Christmas celebrations at Culver, her kindness to staff and patients, her smile and her friendship. So glad we got to know her!  -Sharon Berry

Worked with Jerry at Pulaski hospital. Enjoyed our talks. Got to go out for a few breakfasts. Rest Jerry you deserve it. Condolences to the family. Love Sog  -Scott Sog Sondgerath

I had the honor of working with Geri as a new grad at Mercy hospital in Gary beginning in 1973. I came to the OR as a new grad. Geri was on the cardiac team as she hadn't gone back for her CRNA yet. She made a huge impact as a mentor and friend. Geri inspired me to always give 100% . I will always remember her as an outstanding friend, mentor and nurse.  -Beverly Novak
