Gerry F. Grant, 77 of Valparaiso passed away Monday, December 18, 2023. She was born January 17, 1946 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Francis and Martha (Norrick) Grant. A graduate of River Forest High School, Gerry made her career at Orville Redenbacher. She was a very giving and generous lady, who dearly loved her family and took pride in the legacy she left behind.
Gerry is survived by her sons, John Gajewski and Robert (Jenny) Gajewski; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, and Vanessa Gajewski; great grandchildren, Aiden and Liam Gajewski, Penelope Ewing, and Ophelia Papan; siblings, Sharon Kramer, Linda Grant, James, Grant, William (Karla) Hanson, and Donald (Susan) Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Hanson; father, Francis Grant; and brother, Darwin Grant.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the First Baptist Church of New Chicago.
