Gregory Brian Stressman "Greg", 64, formerly of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2024, in Valparaiso, Indiana, and now resides with his Lord and Savior. Gregory was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father Charles and his brother James. Gregory is survived by his mother, Kathryn Stressman, sister and brother-in-law Marie and Scott Haraburda, two nieces Ashlee (Bryan) Kelley and Krystal (Peter) Ryczek, his aunt Patricia Meadema, and many cousins.
Gregory grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Creston High School in 1978. As a boy, Gregory enjoyed fishing, boating, and snowmobiling with his family at his paternal grandparents’ cabin in northern Michigan. In his youth, Gregory worked at Borgman Ford in Grand Rapids. Gregory was a lifelong car enthusiast, loved vintage car shows, and owned many classic muscle cars over the years. He loved rock and roll music, and enjoyed seeing the Beach Boys in concert last summer. Gregory loved cats and dogs, particularly his dog, Trixie. He was a truly happy man at peace with himself, others and life. Gregory was a gentle and kind soul, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Burial will take place this spring at Holy Cross Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
