Hanley “Warren” Chapman, 59 of Kouts, IN, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born on August 20, 1964 in Valparaiso, IN to Hanley Jewel Chapman and Sandra Lou (Feazel) Hyer. He attended Hobart High School and made his career as a handyman and mechanic for many years before working at Walmart in their automotive department. Besides his favorite pastime of fishing, he thought of himself as a comedian and an avid storyteller-- some stories believable, some not. He will be deeply missed.
In North Judson, IN in 2002, Warren married Candi Shepard, who survives, along with children: Justin Camp, Barbara (Kaylah Milligan) Croy, Chad Lintner, Brandon (Courtney) Lintner, Charity (Jonathan Hackett) Chapman, and Stephanie Chapman; siblings: Vohana (Ron) Breneman, Shelton (Cindy) Chapman, and Sherry Musgrave; many grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stephanie Bolen; uncles, Phillip Chapman and Shorty Chapman; aunt, Marlene Chapman; and grandma, Gradie Chapman.
