Hester Jean Mink, 77 of Valparaiso, passed away at home February 20, 2022 She was born to John and Hester (Fallen) Howard. Jean was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as her siblings, John Jr, Alice, Joyce, Margaret, and Rose. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Manly.
Jean led a full life of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children, Christine Mink of Valparaiso, Robin Perrotta and husband, Kevin Perrotta of Lawrenceville GA, James Allen Mink Jr of Hanna; grandchildren, Jonathan Newlin of Dallas GA, Douglas Mink of Hanna, Kimberly Mink of Hanna, Kristen Mink of Hanna, Christopher Pabon of Valparaiso, and Richard Harvey of Wheeler. Mean Jean as she was called by friends and family that loved her dearly.
Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Animal Charity of Choice.
