Irene H. Tetzloff, 101 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023. She was born November 1, 1921 in Kouts, IN to the late Francis H. and Vivian M. (Wolbrandt) Hawbrook. Irene graduated from Kouts High School in 1940. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of LaCrosse and a 75-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On January 10, 1945 in North Judson, Irene married Eugene L. Tetzloff who preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her children, David (Marjorie) Tetzloff and Martha (Roger) Biggs; and nephews, Neil Selman, Mattew Selman, James Tabor, and William Tabor. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Selman and nephews, John Selman and Robert Tabor.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at Kosanke Funeral Home 309 S. Main Street, Kouts with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Kouts. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the First United Methodist Church of LaCrosse or the American Cancer Society.
