Jackie (Bechinski) Passauer, 47 of Valparaiso, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, July 13, 2023. She was born March 10, 1976 in LaPorte, IN the daughter of Larry and Betty L. (Younggreen) Bechinski. A 1994 graduate of LaCrosse High School, Jackie earned her bachelor's degree from Ivy Tech and worked for Evaluation Services as a research and appraiser assistant. She attended Valley Baptist Church, Valparaiso and was known to be fun loving and full of life. Family was her passion, and she even welcomed her son’s friends in as family. Jackie will be greatly missed by all her family and those whose lives she touched.
On May 21, 2016 Jackie married Joe Passauer who survives along with her father, Larry Bechinski; children, Caleb and Cade Howard, and Grant Passauer; siblings, Rich Bechinski, Becky (Reggie) Lockett, Brenda (Wayne) Timm, Lori (Paul) Sikora, and Lisa (Daron) Bruder; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Wittlee, Ashley, Zack, Haley, Jessica, and McKenzie; and great nieces and nephews, Deklin, Kyleigh, Wyatt, Liam, Aylah, Hayden, Kamryn, Ava, Cole, Pomona, and Isla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bechinski.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 21st at 10:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, LaCrosse. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Dunes Hospice.
