James E. Davison, 53, of Valparaiso, Indiana (Morgan Township) passed away Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born June 26, 1972, in Parsons, Kansas to Orville Davison & Judith Orcutt. James made his career with the U.S. Army for 23 years retiring as a Seargent First Class. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren beyond measure. His 2003 Mustang GT Spec, 2002 BMW 330 CI, 2017 Jeep Rubicon, and his 2015 Harley-Davidson Street-Glide brought him much joy, whether driving them or turning wrenches on them, he was in his element.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Davison (nee Santoro), children: Megan Etheridge, James (Amanda) Davison, Kathleen (Justin) Flowers, Casey Davison, Kady Davison, Dane Davison, his mother, Judy Orcutt, step-children: Vincent Guzman, Rebecca (Glenn) Adamczyk & Mary (Nicholas) Jandeska, and grandchildren: Jack, Leo, Lana, Addison, Oliver, Levi, Johnathan & Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Davison.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4 – 6 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso with funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm. Memorial donations may be given Mission22.org. Burial of James’ urn will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois with military honors at a future date.
