James Edward Beam, 64 of Valparaiso passed away Thursday October 10, 2024. He was born November 23, 1959 in Valparaiso, the son of the late Junior L. and Carol J. (Todd) Beam. Jim worked for over 20 years at McDaniel Fire Systems and enjoyed drawing, hiking, and his favorite outdoor sport, fishing.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Andrew) Chambers and Stephanie Mareska; grandchildren, Amelia, Elijah, Averie, Oliver, and Allis; sister, Peggie Marrell; aunts, Bonnie (Chester) Wallace and Katherine Adam; and uncle, Zeke Todd.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory with no services.
