James R. Fisher, 70 of Portage, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026.  He was born on July 10, 1955 in Grand Island, New York to the late Robert and Roberta (Bentley) Fisher.  Jim was a classic car buff, an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and loved to watch his favorite shows, Everybody Loves Raymond and The Big Bang Theory.  Animals and children tended to gravitate to him, maybe it was his charismatic personality or ability to make people laugh.  Jim also loved having a good time, whether it was gathering with friends and family or just a nice relaxing day drink.

Jim is survived by his children, Amanda Johnson, Eric Allbritten, and Lindsey (Eric) Warne; grandchildren, Emma, Conner, Cameron, Ayda, Eliza, Venessa, and Raylee; siblings, Doug Fisher, Jeff Fisher, and Joanne (Bob) Yale; nephew, R.J. Dolciame; niece, Bree Jacksom; and his aunt and uncle, Dusty and Maryellen Fisher.  He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Linda Archer

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
