Janice R. Mann, 83 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1943 in Valparaiso, to Sterling and Madolin (Peterman) Fry. A 1961 graduate of Valparaiso High School, Janice worked after-school childcare for over 9 years at Immanuel Lutheran School. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church of Valparaiso. Janice loved spending time with family, especially caring for her grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her children, Michael Mann, Jennifer (Robert) Frasure, Marie (Hector, Jr.) Reyes, and JoAnne (Robert) Mann-Krause; grandchildren, Sarah, Cecilia (Joe), Sidnee (Brock), Quinton, Karlie, Kaitie, Karson, Kaiden, Kayci, and Kalli-Ana; great grandchildren, Jett, Vivian, Oliver, and Abigail; best friend of 79 years, Bertie Spanga-Mitchell; and best friend of 40 years, Barb Webb. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Emma Frasure; brother, William Fry and sister, Joyce Collins.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso.
