Jeanne Lane, 87 of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born on February 13, 1937 in Livia, KY to Harlan H. and Anna Leotia (French) Boyd and graduated from Utica High School. She made her career as a catalog sales representative for Spiegel Catalog in Hammond, IN for 20 years and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She lived in Texas for 30 years where she attended the Church on the Arroyo. She found joy in collecting Elvis memorabilia, going to flea markets, and motor-homing.
In June of 1965, Jeanne married Malvern Lane, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2022 after 57 years of marriage. Survivors include son, Steve (Judy) Huff; grandchildren, Sam (Emily) and Maggie; and great-grandchildren: Cole, Cody, Owen, and Lucy Jean. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: William, Leroy, and Harlan Jr.; and sisters: Anna Ruth, Mary, and Florence.
Per Jeanne’s wishes, following cremation, no services will be held.
