Jeanne Lynn Peterson, 60 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born May 5, 1962 in Chicago Heights, IL to Edwin and Janet (Tilly) James. Lynn was a 17-year cancer survivor, who loved animals, the outdoors, and her family.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 22 years, Dale Senesac; son, Randy Peterson; sister, Kim James; nieces and nephews, Michael Nielsen, John and Chris DeFrank, Miranda and McKoy Webb, and Nick James; and her lifelong friends, Kathy and Sharon. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Shawn Brewster.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Animal Shelter or Wildlife Foundation of choice.
