Jerald Wayne Loza, 63, of Kouts passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born September 9, 1962, in Gary, Indiana to Jeffrey & Helen (Pondo) Loza, graduated from Wheeler High School in 1981, and received a B.S. and M.B.A. from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Jerald made his career as a Business Analyst in the computer industry. He enjoyed studying science and observing the natural world and its wonders.
On June 20, 1987, he married Mary Bart who survives along with their children: Julie Loza, M.D. (Patrick McCaffrey, M.D.), and Alex Loza, and one grandson, Owen McCaffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jeffrey Loza, Jr.
Following cremation a private family celebration of Jerald’s life will be held.

Dear Mary and Julie, Ah! So many memories of Jerry, as a boy and ou neighbor.on U.S. Highway 30. His antics and pranks. His science projects and collections in the basement. His wanderings, and parents Jeff and Helen's loud calls for him to "get washed up for dinner." His total commitment to his studies, and to computers/technology. And then along came Julie! And, the total devotion that Jerry - and especially Grandpa and Grandma Helen - for that lovely, vivacious and curious child. GOD bless you, and your dear family.
