Joyce M. Ritchey, 68 of Alsip, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 3. 2026. She was born on October 24, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Donald J. and Dolores A. (Dankart) Ritchey, Sr. Joyce loved listening to music, her favorites were Elvis and Tom Jones. She also enjoyed swimming and watching TV with her brother, Jimmy.
Joyce is survived by her siblings, Dolores, Donald, Jr., Jacqueline (Doug), James (Tracy), Michael (Brande), and Scott (Teresa); nephews, David, Joseph, and Chase; niece, Emily; and four great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with Funeral Service beginning at 6:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Park Lawn, Oak Lawn, Illinois.
