Judy Ann Storey, 74 of Valparaiso, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born on March 9, 1950 in Searcy, Arkansas to James Chester and Mae Lorene (Danley) Price. She made her vocation as a nurse and worked at Porter Memorial Hospital, Whispering Pines, and Methodist Hospitals Southlake Campus throughout her 30 year career. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, cheering on the Chicago Bears, and listening to music such as Elvis and Creedence Clearwater Revival. She was a beloved wife, mother, gramma, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly.
On December 28, 1968, Judy married David E. Storey, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2020. Survivors include their children, April Fischer and Jason (Maggie) Storey; brother, Jerry (Nancy) Price; grandchildren: Vincent, Shelby, Savanah, Cheyenne, Dunkan, Serena, and David-Isaac; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mae; infant son, Jeremy Eugene Storey; and brothers, Jim Price and Perry Price.
A private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
