June Rose Aldred, 88 of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1935 in Chicago, IL to George and Rose (Spilger) Snyder. A graduate from Harper High School, who dabbled in a little bit of everything from raising a family to lending a skilled hand with the family homebuilding business, Aldred Homes of Valparaiso. Additionally, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading. She could always be seen with a big smile and would be quick to listen and cheer anyone up. June was a patient, kind, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many who will be missed dearly.
June married Aryl Aldred Jr., who proceeded her in death on June 10, 2019. Survivors include children, Lisa (Tom Grossman) Aldred and Aryl (Darla) Aldred III; grandchildren, Coleton Grossman, Thomas Aldred, and Alex Aldred; and niece, Diane Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Carol Snyder.
Private family services will be held with cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in June’s name.
