Keith Kevin Goddard, 71 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born December 3, 1953, in Chicago, IL to Keith and Nancy (Dorgan) Goddard. Keith graduated from Gage Park High School in Chicago, and made his career as a Direct Support Professional with Opportunity Enterprises in Valparaiso for over 10 years. He was a talented artist who created beautiful paintings with his oil and acrylic paints. Keith also loved collecting sports cards and cheering on the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox. He will be remembered as a loving and caring person, and a phenomenal father. Keith will be dearly missed.
Keith is survived by his beloved sons: Cody Goddard and Alec Goddard, both of Valparaiso; sisters: Pamela Goddard, Stephanie Goravica, and Jill (Doyle) Lanphere; special aunt, Pat Harnish; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Greg Goddard.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Bible Church, 824 N. Calumet Ave., Chesterton, IN, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cody and Alec Goddard.

I worked with Keith for many years when I was receptionist at the Lakeside facility of Opportunity Enterprises. He was a wonderful friend coworker. He painted baby Groot for me and also gave me a small Blackhawks logo painting. I still have them in my home. Rest in peace Keith. -Shannon Schmidt
