Kelley Anne (McDonald) Baltz united with her Savior on November 20, 2022. Kelley was a bright light and will be remembered for her gregarious personality, her love of family and quick Irish wit. She never knew a stranger, and was well-loved for her unique storytelling abilities; she would regale family, friends, acquaintances, even store clerks with her anecdotes. Born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1956 to Robert and Pat McDonald, Kelley was a 1974 graduate of Chesterton High School.
She worked in Plant Protection at Bethlehem Steel until 1981, and then devoted herself to her family. Kelley will be greatly missed by her husband, David; and by the children of whom she was so very proud, Lindsay Anne Morris, and Griffin (Kara) Baltz, grandchildren: Preston Morris, Olivia Baltz, and David Baltz. Kelley is also survived by her mother, Pat McDonald, and her four sisters: Susan (Randy) Smith, Nancy (Bob) Fanning, Mary (Jeff) Deuberry, and Barbara “Bobbie” McDonald. Kelley had a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and the family is comforted knowing Kelley has now joined her dad in Heaven.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Angelcrest Cemetery, 180 E. 600 N., Valparaiso, IN. Donations in Kelley’s memory may be made to the Porter County Animal Shelter.
