Kenneth J. Kukler, Sr., 80 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born June 28, 1942 in Washington Township, PA to Alexander and Mary (Kniha) Kukler. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ken made his career as a millwright working for 30 years at Bethlehem Steel and 3 years at U.S. Steel. He was a member of the American Legion Post 260 of Portage, enjoyed spending time at the Broken Arrow Campground, and loved his little Yorkie buddies, Tonka and Tango.
Ken is survived by his children, April Delaney, Ken (Tina) Kukler, Jr., and Jason (fiancé, Selina Calvillo) Kukler; grandchildren, Gavin, Noelle, Connor, and Klara; and his brothers, Alex Kukler and Gary (Kathy) Kukler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Mary Kukler; sister, Deloris Ricciuto; and mother of his children, Judith Kukler-Jones.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Chesterton Cemetery.
