Kenneth “Papa” Jensen, 73, was called home to Jesus on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025.   Kenneth Wayne Jensen was born July 8, 1952 in Withee, WI to Albert and Laura Jensen. He leaves behind his beloved children; Jaime Jensen, Kimberley (Neal) Burns, and Erik (Rebekah) Jensen. His greatest achievement was being the proud Papa to Ava, Zoe, Brooklyn & Andrew. He was a treasured brother to the late Nancy (John) Chiaramonte, Richard (Sandy) Jensen, Ron (Debbie) Jensen, Jerry Jensen, Kathy Jensen White, Cyndi (the late Joseph) Zeibert, Rodney (Karen) Jensen, and Laurie (Patrick) Doyle. He will be missed greatly by his many extended family and friends. Kenneth was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife Diana, his parents, his sister Nancy, and many dear relatives.

Kenneth retired from SH Bell Company in 2018, where he spent his career as a laborer. He cherished his time coaching his children in sports and was adored by all who knew him both on and off the field. He was a devoted fan to the Cubbies, Bears, Hawks, and Bulls.

Kenneth was the definition of a Good Man, he had the gentlest soul, he embodied the virtues of integrity, loyalty, kindness and empathy. Whether he knew someone for five minutes or fifty years, he treated everyone with respect, compassion and the grace of his gentle heart.  He cared deeply, loved harder and found great joy in everyday life.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 31st at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall at 805 Elm St, Valparaiso, IN. Friends and family may visit from 5pm-9pm. Please wear your favorite sports gear to honor Kenny.
