Kory A. Conner, 28 of San Pierre, died by suicide Saturday, March 11, 2023.  He was born to James and Angel (Eshbaugh) Conner on July 16, 1994 in Valparaiso, Indiana.  A 2013 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School, Kory had earned a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue North Central.  He was a loving, patient, and caring husband. When at home, he was almost always found cuddling with his loving pup Millie on his recliner. He was proud to be provider for his family and was currently working as an engineer for NIPSCO.  Family was everything to Kory, and he was so excited to be promoted from dog dad to human dad.  He had a knack for answering questions sarcastically, but he always had a big heart and was ready to listen and help. He was always able to calm others down and give them a different perspective on situations (especially with his mom and wife).  Kory loved racing with his family and enjoyed playing golf when he had time.  He will be remembered as a man who loved God. He was a wonderful son, a good brother and friend, and a loving husband.
On April 13, 2019, Kory married Mackenzie Misner who survives and is expecting to give birth to their son, Samuel, any day now. His dog Millie is also left behind. He is also survived by his parents, Jim and Angel Conner; twin-brother, Kody (Billie) Conner; father and mother-in-law, James and Michelle Misner; brothers-in-law, Matthew (Bridget) and Nicholas (Jocelyn) Misner; grandparents, Judy Eshbaugh and Bob and Donna Conner; uncles Rob Conner and Rick (Vick) Eshbaugh; aunts, Joy (Roy) Livingston and Kathy (Steve) Edstrom; cousins, Renee and Karleigh Conner.  Kory was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Claire and grandfather, Donald Eshbaugh.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kosanke Funeral Home 309 S. Main St., Kouts, with a Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 16th  at 11:00 AM directly at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church 165 Grace St., Wheatfield.  Burial will follow at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery, Wheatfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mackenzie and Samuel Conner.
