Lawrence E. Pigeon, 92, affectionately referred to as “Pigeon”, passed away on July 12, 2023 peacefully in Michigan City. Pigeon was born to Claire and Francis Pigeon in Chicago IL, where he lived until moving to Valparaiso in 1993. He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Carol. Pigeon loved Miller High Life, White Castles, breakfast at Jimmy’s, the Eagles club, and riding his bike all over Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. What he loved most was spending time with his family.
Pigeon is survived by his Sister Loretta Galovich, Nieces Pamela(Andrew) Mokrzycki and Mary(Artie) Lucente, Nephews Gregory(Ginny) Durham and Michael(Cheri) Galovich. Great Nieces Hollie(Cory) Mokrzycki, Jamie(Jason) Jester, Jordan(Mark) Frost, Great Nephews JP(Liz) Mokrzycki, Scott(Lauren) Mokrzycki, Nic(Meagan) Durham, Kurtis(Braeley) Durham, Anthony(Valerie) Lucente, Robert(Ashley) Lucente, Tyler Galovich and Aidan Galovich. Great Great Nieces and Nephews Hailey, Kaden, Kate, Cannon, Camden, Caylee, Corey, Alex, Mackenzie and baby Frost.
Visitation will be July 22, 2023 from 10:00-11:30 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.

Deepest sympathy to all family members. Pidge was the man very active man, loved he road his bike all over. Great memories bowling with him. Always made us laugh.
