Len G. Rogers, 63 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. He was born July 29, 1959 in Montgomery, WV to the late Lee Roy and Erma Ann (Fauber) Rogers. Len retired after working for several years in restaurant management. He found enjoyment in watching movies, especially the Marvel Series, listening to music, playing putt-putt golf, cars, and was an avid Cubs fan. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Len loved spending time with his family.
On September 9, 1989, Len married Peggy Hayhurst who survives along with their children, Jonathon (Emily) Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, and Melissa (Ryan) Vega; granddaughter, Kennedy Vega; siblings, Leroy (Renee) Rogers, Helen Titly, Harry (Deb) Rogers, John (Brandi) Rogers, Debbie (Skip) Westphal, Charlie (Tara) Rogers, and Jana (Matt) Piesker; in laws “Mom and Dad”, Don and Patt Hayhurst; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a service beginning at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel for Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
