Lillie Faye Polarek, 92 of Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 15, 2025. Faye was born in Sullivan, IN on July 3, 1933, to the late Charles and Ruby (Pigg) Meier. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Polarek; daughter, Jane Daniely Kubal; grandson, Mitchell Dean Gholston; sisters: Marge Thomas, Shelby Cardinal, and Shirley Cardinal; and brother, Charles Meier. Faye is survived by her daughters: Judy (Gary) Worland of Greenwood, IN, and Johnna (Gregg) Gholston of Chapin, SC; grandchildren: Shannon (Brad) Stahley, Brian (Janelle) Worland, Jacob (Karly) Gholston, Daniel Gholston, and Marcus Gholston; 6 great grandchildren; and brother, Tom Meier.

Faye graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes in 1951, and went on to be a telephone operator with Indiana Bell, a job she truly loved! After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, she became a Real Estate Broker and began her career working for Jim Dickey Real Estate. Later, she went to work for Harley Snyder Real Estate and was proud to be awarded the HB Snyder award for her excellence in the field. She was awarded Salesperson/Listing person for both the month and year a multitude of times. Faye served on the professional standards committee for the Board of Realtors. She finished her real estate career with Coldwell Banker Real Estate working side by side with some of her most cherished friends.

Upon retirement, she attempted to play golf and went dancing with her husband, Chuck, joined the Valparaiso Garden Club and attended water class at the YMCA. As a member of the Garden Club, she was instrumental in designating Lincolnway in Valparaiso as a Blue Star Memorial Highway. She loved playing cards, dancing, and working in her yard. Prior to relocating to Indianapolis, Faye was a member of Liberty Bible Church where she served as a deaconess.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Opportunity Enterprises, 2801 Evans Ave., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
