Linda Kay Millsap, 63 of Valparaiso, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was born May 11, 1960, in Valparaiso to Robert and Esther (Zell) Archer. Linda graduated from Chesterton High School, and later received a degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech, and a degree in Computer Science from Calumet College. She made her career as a Quality Control Site Supervisor with Trigo for many years. Linda was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing PlayStation games, doing puzzles, and crocheting. She was a tough woman and a hard worker, who overcame any adversity that came her way. Linda will be remembered as a good friend, with a feisty personality. She will be dearly missed.
Linda is survived by her children: Amanda (Jeff Komarowski) Johnson of Chesterton, Eric Allbritten of Rensselaer, and Lindsey (Eric) Warne of Roselawn; her significant other, James Fisher; and her grandchildren: Emma, Eliza, Conner, Camren, Vanessa, Ayda, and Raylee. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Archer; mother, Esther Furr; and brother, Phillip Archer.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
