Lois E. Naillieux, 93 of Wheeler, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was born December 29, 1930 in Cayuga, Indiana, the daughter of William and Edna (Woodard) Dixon. Lois began her career at General Electric, then worked for VNA and in private care. She was a member of the Wheeler United Methodist Church, where she was involved in the United Methodist Women.
Lois is survived by her stepchildren, Elizabeth (Ron) Beach of Valparaiso, Susan Ciesielski of Hobart, Joanne (Sam) Hart of Wheeler, Jennifer (Chris) Teets of Cedar Lake, and Matthew Naillieux of Wheeler; numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Eugene Cork in 1979 and Floyd M. Naillieux in 2011; and brothers, Lyle Dixon and Gayle Dixon; stepchildren, Nancy Brown, Patricia Carney, and Barbara Humphries.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VNA of NWI or Wheeler Methodist Church.
