Loyd Jackson, Jr., 83 of Hebron, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025.  He was born on June 24, 1941 in Cumberland, Kentucky, to Loyd and Lillie (Smith) Jackson.  A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Loyd made his career as an accountant for 41 years at LTV Steel.  He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church of Hebron and the Masonic Lodge 502 of Hebron and was a Master Mason.  Loyd enjoyed dancing, going on drives, vacations, and traveling to visit with family.

On July 15, 1989, Loyd married Margaret “Peggy” Martin who survives along with their children, Chris (Tammie) Frey, Mark Jackson, and Jennifer Winia; grandchildren, Drew (Beth), Zac, and Matt Frey, Carson and Lindsey Phillips, and Heather and Allison Jackson; great grandchildren, Logan and Maya Frey; and his brother, Vernon (Myrtle) Jackson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister, and sons, Kevin and Jeff Frey,

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church 756 W 350 S, Hebron, IN 4634, with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church.
