Marilyn Louise Tysen, 90 of Hebron, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023.  She was born May 21, 1933 in Wheatfield, Indiana to the late Maurice H. and Inez E. (Fleener) Sampson.  A 1951 graduate of Hebron High School, Marilyn had worked at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for 25 years.  She was very active with the Hebron United Methodist Women and the South County Belles.  Marilyn enjoyed cooking and celebrating with family during the holidays.  A strong and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, her love and care for family will be greatly missed.
On June 1, 1951, Marilyn married Richard Tysen, Jr., who preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children, Richard (Susan) Tysen, Shelley Griffin, and Tamara Wynn; grandchildren, Carrie, Nicholas, Dirk, Patrick, Caine, and Shriyani; and great grandchildren, Emma, Damien, Logan, Isabelle, Geagua, Tysen, Lyla, Neil, Giuliana, Colette, and Paxton.  Marilyn was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joseph Donis; son-in-law, Gordon Wynn; Granddaughter Taylor; great granddaughter, Rayne; sister, Claudia Osby; and brother, Maurice Sampson.
A private graveside service was held at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Family.
