Marjorie J. Clark, 78, of Valparaiso passed away Friday, December 22, 2023.  She was born September 25, 1945, in Crown Point to James & Ina Mae (Thompson) Hutton and graduated from Crown Point High School.  Marjorie made her career as a hairdresser for many years, having owned and operated Red Carpet Beauty Salon.  She enjoyed her membership at Heartland Christian Center, doting on her grandkids, pampering Leonard, snow birding in Texas in their motorhome, refinishing furniture for the dozen homes they rehabbed and flipped, family camping, and did we not yet mention her kitchen; it may not have been her explicit mission to feed the world, but it’s safe to say that she had a pretty good start at it.
On September 28, 1963, she married Leonard Clark who survives along with their sons; Scott Clark of Valparaiso & Todd (Tammy) Clark of North Carolina, grandchildren: Jessica Alm, Rachel Sims, Luke Clark, Sydney Clark & Grason Clark, great-grandson, Declan Alm, and her sister, Shirley Egyed.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Clark in 1994, her parents and one brother, James Hutton.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 6th from 11 am – 1 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso with memorial service beginning at 1:00 pm.  A private family burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

GUESTBOOK

Mr. & Mrs Clark lived down the street from my family and my mom and dad were good friends with Mr & Mrs Clark and us kids all went to school together and grew up with each other. I remember snowmobiling with the boys and Mrs Clark always cut mine and my mom's hair. We even had Bible study group at their house. The Clark Family is and has always been a part of my family and it saddens me that Mrs Clark is in Heaven now. My prayers go out to all who knew Mrs. Clark her love was very welcomed by many.
