Mark Wallace Rigg, 55 of Hebron, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 25, 1969 in Valparaiso to James Leon and Linda Lee (Williams) Rigg.  Mark enjoyed riding anything with a motor from his KZ1000 to his tractor. He loved the simple things in life - a campfire and tent with a Marlboro and a Bud Lite. Mark also loved all animals and had many favorites: Lucky his chocolate lab and Kiki aka “that tractor riding dog”. He would help anyone and give them whatever he could even if he needed it. Mark was a gentle soul who made everyone laugh. His last attempt at making Debbie laugh was this joke: What is the difference between a cow and an Adam’s apple? Ponder that!

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary (Sharon) Rigg.  He is survived by his wife, Debbie; niece, Megan (Andrew) Bolton; nephew, Tim (Jen) Rigg: special nephew, Devin Witt; cousins, Dan (Lori) Rigg and Lisa Rigg; stepmother, Linda (Howard) Rigg; his fur babies, dog, Buddy and cat, Lars; and many sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 26, 2025 from 1:00-7:00 PM at the Hebron Masonic Lodge 502, 110 North Main Street, Hebron.  Please be comfortable, wear jeans and a racing, NHRA, motorcycle, or a band t-shirt in honor of Mark.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, Erin’s Farm NFP of Hobart, or an animal shelter or sanctuary of your choice.
