Marvin C. Grieger, 67, of Morgan Township passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 1, 2024. He was born January 30, 1957, to Charles W. & Doris Lee (Borth) Grieger and graduated from Morgan Township High School in 1975. Marvin made his career as a lineman with Kankakee Valley REMC for nearly two decades, but it was tending the family farm to which he committed most of his life. The gardening that went along with that and the self-sufficiency of farm life suited him well. His relationship with his Lord led to his generous nature that benefitted numerous charities over the years. “Well done Thy good and faithful servant”.
Survivors include his brother, Ken Grieger of Valparaiso, niece, Rochelle (Nicholas) O’Guin, nephew, Darren (Julia) Grieger, and great nieces & nephews: Ryan, Taylor, Louella, Liam, Edith & Emilia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Monday, August 5th from 10 am – 12 noon at Kosanke Funeral Home, 309 S. Main St., Kouts with funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon, Pastor Terry Wellsand officiating and burial to follow at Adams Cemetery.
