Mary Ellen Lipp, 71, of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023. She was born May 13, 1952 in Valparaiso to Roger & Marjorie (Klahn) Brunson and graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1970. Mary enjoyed owning and operating Wild Birds Unlimited in Valparaiso and interacting with her loyal clientele for 11 years prior to health challenges interrupting her entrepreneurship. A truly loving and caring individual, Mary shared her calm spirit and reassured all in her realm throughout her lifetime.
On October 16, 1982, she married Michael Lipp who survives along with sister-in-law, Amy Dawson, brother-in-law, Andrew (Barbara) Lipp, and many loving nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private visitation & service will be held Wednesday at Moeller Funeral Home with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery.
