Nadine R. Neuffer, 90, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was born February 26, 1933, to Claude & Opal (Foster) Richardson. Nadine graduated from Blue Springs High School and later attended Purdue North Central University. She made her career as a caterer for over 20 years in northwest Indiana.
On August 15, 1952, she married William O. Neuffer who preceded her in death in 1997. Survivors include their children; Gail (Lonnie) Kepley of Naperville, IL, William K. (Andrea) Neuffer of Greenfield, IN, Vic (Elizabeth) Neuffer of Carmel, IN, sister, Jannie Hiller, brother, James Richardson, grandchildren; David (Bethany), Katherine, William, Christopher (Olivia), Alexandra, Bridget, Kyle, Sean, & Audrey. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Norma & Laveda. Nadine loved to host holiday dinners for her extended family, and she loved to make beautiful quilts.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 3 – 7 pm at Angelcrest Chapel, 180 E. 600 N. Valparaiso. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church 201 Washington St., Valparaiso, Rev. Dr. Timothy A. Leitzke officiating with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.
