Nancy H. Jones, 82 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. She was born on July 20, 1942 in Hereford, PA, the daughter of Elmer V. and Helen M. (Miller) Heilman. Nancy graduated from Quakertown Community High School. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, cooking, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Valparaiso. Many will remember the tours of her flowers each year and the wonderful meals Nancy hosted for family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
On October 20, 1962, Nancy married George E. Jones who survives along with their son, Matthew B. (Jennifer) Jones; grandchildren, Danielle C. Jones and Wesley and Nick Brandy; great granddaughter, James Brandy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dan; brother, Brian; and sister, Jean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the First United Methodist Church of Valparaiso Food Pantry.
