Norma Jean Finney, 86 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday. June 6, 2024. She was born July 24, 1937 in Kouts, IN to the late Orie and Mildred (Martin) Reinhardt. Norma retired from the electrical division at McGill Manufacturing. She found enjoyment in shopping, mainly to continue adding to her large collection of Hallmark Ornaments. Norma loved spending time with her family, who will miss her greatly.
On July 31, 1954 in Valparaiso, Norma married Ronald Finney who preceded her in death in 2018. She is survived by her children, Christine Kyes of Valparaiso, Curt (Clesta) Finney of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Greg Schiesser, Kellie (Glenn) King, Angela (Wally) Koziorowski, Jesse (Shelby) Finney; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Vera Birky, Helen Miller, and Shirley (Owen Sommers) Kneifel; 3 half-sisters; and a half-brother.
Following private family services, a Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice of NWI.
