Patricia Diane (Sinn) Bianco passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, in Tampa, Florida surrounded by her family.
Patricia “Pat” Diane Sinn was born on October 8, 1953, in Valparaiso, Indiana as the first of four daughters raised by Eugene M. Sinn and Cecilia (Shutske) Sinn. Throughout her childhood, Pat excelled in school and was very active in local 4H activities. She earned admittance to the Pharmacy program at Purdue University, graduating at the top of her class in 1976. Following graduation, Pat began her over 40-year career as a pharmacist at Arth Drugs in Lafayette, before spending 35 years at Walgreens, mostly in Valparaiso. Pat was an exceptional pharmacist and dedicated countless hours to helping those in her community. She always spoke highly of her many wonderful colleagues and was proud to play a role in helping to keep her community healthy.
Pat met her husband of 51 years, Joseph S. Bianco, during a blind date in 1969. Pat and Joe were married on June 15, 1974, in Kouts, Indiana. Following a brief stint in Lafayette, Pat and Joe settled in Valparaiso where they raised their family. Pat’s pride and joy were her eight grandchildren; she never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Of course, to those who knew Pat best, her favorite way to spend time with family and friends was with a trip to Disney World where, over the years, she enjoyed countless wonderful moments.
Pat is survived by her husband, Joe, and their three children, Joseph (Lindsay) Bianco, Thomas (Lauren) Bianco, and Anna (Ryan) Duane, her sisters, Carol Schuster, Marge Sebelius, and Cheryl DeVuyst, as well as her eight grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
The Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1855 Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Purdue University School of Pharmacy Scholarships.
GUESTBOOK
Joe and family, I am so sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. She will always been known as one of the best pharmacy managers ever. We had a lot of good times in Valpo. She was a mentor, a confidante, a Mom and a friend to me. I will miss her. May God grant her eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon her. -Trish Michaels
