Patricia “Pat” Beecher, 90 of LaCrosse, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025. She was born February 11, 1935, in LaCrosse, to the late Daniel and Dorothy (Marsh) Spiess. Pat graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1953. She was a member of the LaCrosse United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed sewing, doing upholstery, gardening, and tending to her flowers. Pat loved her family and looked forward to family get-togethers and holidays, where she gave out homemade gifts. She was proud of the conservative values her father instilled in her, and the talent for sewing her mother passed on to her. Pat will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
On June 28, 1953, Pat married Merrill “Fred” Beecher, who preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by their children: Julia (Russell) Dommermuth and Terry (Donna) Beecher; daughter-in-law, Kathy Beecher; brother-in-law, LaVerne (Becky) Beecher; grandchildren: Clinton (Maranda) Beecher, Rachel (Mark Robbins) Beecher, Heather (Adam) Stark, Tara (Kenneth) Doll, Alan (Erica) Beecher, Caitlin (Ryan) Landis, Olivia Beecher, and Jenna Beecher; great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Toby, Owen, Riley, Ethan, Dustin, Keeley, Wyatt, Austin, Brody, Ella, Jasmine, Ashlynn, Cooper, Emma, Liam, Amelia; and great great grandchildren: Weston and Harlyn. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Beecher; grandson, Jason Beecher; sisters: Ardena Barbieri and Priscilla Wright; and sister-in-law, Sharon Doll.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the LaCrosse United Methodist Church, 11 N. Indiana Ave., LaCrosse, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Graveside service and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, July 8, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or LaCrosse United Methodist Church.
