Pauline Doepping, 95 of Hebron passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023. She was born September 25, 1928, in Middletown, Ohio to the late James and Frances (French) Irons. Pauline attended Crown Point High School and was a devoted homemaker for her husband and children. She enjoyed collecting dolls, China painting, and crocheting in her spare time. Pauline will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
On February 8, 1946, Pauline married Herbert E. Doepping, who preceded her in death in 2022. She is survived by their son, Edward (Sharon) Doepping of Crown Point, son-in-law, Charles (Mary Lou) Hardesty of Wheeler; grandchildren: Eric (Deneise) Hardesty & Melissa (Eugene) Weber; great-grandchildren: Bethy & Branden Hardesty and Gabriel & Graham Kitkowski; and sister, Irene Fritch. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Hardesty in 2001; grandson, Ward Doepping in 2006; and siblings: Mary Stonebraker, Elinor Lewis, Betty Farster, Francis Haines, James Irons, and Sharon Cole.
Per Pauline’s wishes, a private burial was held at Graceland Cemetery.
