Words alone cannot give us a portrait of a person's passion for a life lived, and those shared by him but the actions expressed by the love he shared with friends and family lives on for eternity, his gestures, praise of a job well done, a smile that lifted your heart at a time needed most, a special look a gesture, emitting joy and kindness; these are that which live on in all of our hearts, God bless you and your family, may our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you at this needed time of reflection. In Jesus name Amen. -Joe and Sandy Lopez

Not, how did he die, But how did he live? Not what did he gain, But what did he give? These are the units To measure the worth Of a man as a man, Regardless of birth. Not, what was his church, Nor what was his creed But had he befriended Those really in need? Was he ever ready, With Word of good cheer, To bring back a smile, To banish a tear? Not what did the sketch In the newspaper say, But how many were sorry When he passed away. You will DEFINITELY be missed on our fishing trips. The first of our original four is gone…and sadly missed! Michael Nackovic

Robert and his family walked in Porter United Methodist Church on Good Friday evening two years ago. From the beginning they were welcome and they said they felt comfortable and loved. They shared many services and fellowship times with our church family. The Escobedos are prime examples of loving Christians and Robert was the pillar example for them. God has him wrapped in His arms where he is free from pain and suffering and watches his family continue to live lives the way he taught them to with God at their side. Rest in peace my friend and know that you were and are a shining example of how God wants us all to live and love. Blessings and love to Roberts family and friends. -Marcia Demeter
