Robert Garrett Wright IV, 39 of Wanatah passed away due to an unexpected illness on November 15, 2023.  He was born July 26, 1984 in Saginaw, Michigan.  Rob worked for Nitco as a tower technician and was an avid Colts fan, loved listening to Tom Petty, and watched Apollo 13 and Back to the Future countless times. He enjoyed hiking the Dunes of Northwest Indiana, especially with his kids.  For those that had the blessing of knowing Rob, they knew he was calm, kindhearted, carried himself with a gentle demeanor, may have been the funniest person ever, and most of all loved his children, Jordan and Dianne deeply.
Rob is survived by his parents, Dianne and Brent Langston; children, Jordan and Dianne; sister, Melissa (Steve) Pearce; nephew and niece, Elliott and Julia Pearce; uncle, Dan Garrett; aunt, Debbie Weiss; cousins, Stephanie Secker, Jennifer Hulighan, Aaron Weiss, Joshua Weiss, and Caroline Hacker.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Yvonne Garrett and Stella Ball.
Following cremation, a private family memorial service will be held at Calvary Church in the Chapel of Hope.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dunes Conservation Fund.
