Robert Scott Fleming, 64 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born September 11, 1959 in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of Robert G. and Vada (Harris) Fleming. Bob made his career as a welder and enjoyed fishing and taking trips with family for gem hunting. An avid rock hunter, he spent many days by the river hunting for rocks and fossils.
On August 7, 2010, Bob married Shanna Daniels who survives along with children, Amber (Chad) Campbell, Courtney (Josh) Fleming, Robert R. Fleming, Rachel (Eli) Black, Brianna (David) Fleming, and Bryce (Kayla) Fleming; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; sisters, Paulette Young, Sandy (Ken) Stasierowski, and Terri (Kent) Miller; brothers, Rodney (Angel) Wolfe and Larry Wolfe Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Larry Wofle, Sr., and daughter, Amanda Fleming.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
