Roger Neil Rigg, 84, of Boone Grove passed away Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born March 21, 1940, to Newell & Gladys (Aylesworth) Rigg and graduated from Boone Grove High School. Roger began his career with Nipsco directly out of high school and served proudly as a welder and dedicated employee for nearly 40 years. He will be fondly remembered for his love of flying, having enjoyed piloting small aircraft.
On December 4, 1959. in Hebron he married Kay Baldwin who preceded him in death in 2021. Survivors include his daughter, Krista Lazaro, sister, Vernice (Don) Buchanan and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Rigg in 2014, and an infant brother.
A private burial ceremony will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
