Ronald A. Toomire, age 80 of Hanna, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Northwest Health Porter Hospital. He was born February 27, 1944 in Medaryville, Indiana to Donald and Thelma (Dewitt) Toomire. Ron graduated from Wanatah High School in 1963. He made his career at Urschel Laboratories as an abrasive finisher and retired in 2001. He loved working in the garage, restoring classic cars, golfing, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. Ron will always be remembered as a well-loved and devoted husband, father, grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
On June 12, 1965, Ronald married Diane Reinke who survives along with their son, Eric Toomire and grandchildren, Cole Toomire and Brianna Toomire. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Ronald, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
