Ronald Bruce Evans, 68 of Kouts, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born on April 25, 1957 in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late, Glen H. and Barbara J. (Aiken) Evans. A graduate of Hebron High School, Ron’s passion in life was cars. Which led him to be a mechanic and the owner of Auto Connection in Kouts.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Meaghan (Jake Buck) Wade; grandchildren, Austin and Makenzie; siblings, Glenda (Bob) Mills, Bob (Donna) Evans, Dave (Kim) Evans, Valerie (Mark) Pearman, Sharon Evans, Terry (Diana) Evans, and Gregg Evans; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be announced for a later date.

Ron was a great guy hiding behind his ruff persona. He always treated me fair when doing work on my vehicles. We had many a chat for hrs outside the garage and a few times at a couple of the local pubs. I knew him to do work on people's vehicles and allow them to pay him back on payments they could afford.
