Ronald L. Kuehl, Sr., 87, of Valparaiso passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born May 24, 1936, to Vernon & Margaret (Dibkey) Kuehl, graduated from Wheeler High School, and served proudly with the U.S. Army in Italy. His career as a driver for Wanatah Trucking, and later Baird & Marine Petroleum was quite fulfilling for him. Ron enjoyed casting a fishing line into the water for whatever might be biting that day. Raising and sharing vegetables from his garden was a source of pride and tinkering away the hours in his pole barn fixing a menagerie of problems always seemed to be time well spent for Ron.
In 1966 he married Karen Masterson who preceded him in death in 2021. He is survived by his son, Ronald L. Kuehl. Jr. of Hanna, brother, Roger (Lorene) Kuehl of Valparaiso, and sisters-in-law, Donna Kuehl & Pauline Kuehl. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard, Russell & Randall Kuehl.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private committal service will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
